Ram, as he's fondly addressed in the wildlife fraternity, is a semi-professional, freelancing Nature & Wildlife Photographer from Bangalore, India. He believes photography is a powerful tool that evokes a sense of awareness, joy, and compassion. Ram loves to present his images in the form of storytelling. He began his photography journey in wildlife in 2008 and is a self-taught photographer. He has mentored over 500 wildlife enthusiasts over the last few years & has been a judge, a panelist on wildlife events & forums. Ram specialises in big-cat tracking and has been extremely successful in showing his guests/ clients their first big cat in the jungles of Asia and Africa. Ram conducts guided photography tours / workshops to destinations imparting photography knowledge from basic to advanced level photography enthusiasts.

Ram is a recipient of many National & International Photography Awards. His images have featured in NatGeo UK, NatGeo Spain, BBC Television Broadcast, Sky News & other social media handles. Ram's images and content have also featured in National and International Wildlife magazines across Karnataka Tourism websites, Wildlife Exhibitions, Conservation Documentaries, Wildlife Forums, Bird field guides, and in the latest edition of Indian Mammals, also a field guide.

Over the years, Ram has turned into a snake-rescuer at his neighbourhood & has successfully rescued & relocated over 50 snakes; be it a venomous or non-venomous. Ram has also trained his community security guards on careful rescue & relocation of snakes. Besides this, Ram loves to facilitate awareness sessions on Wildlife and Photography at schools & wildlife events.
